News of Sanjay Dutt’s untitled action drama, a remake of the Tamil hit Saamy (2003), has been making headlines for some time now. In fact, a few months ago, the actor apparently pulled out of the project as there were some issues regarding the film’s rights. As a result, he had also returned the signing amount of R2 crore to the makers. Since then, the film seems to have been put on the backburner.
Besides the Agneepath actor, the makers have roped in dialogue-writer duo SajidFarhad of the Golmaal series fame, as well as music composer Himesh Reshammiya.
Akshay Kumar has found a new friend, this time in Mithun Chakraborty. We learnt that during the filming of Housefull 2, the two got so pally that Akki asked Mithun to be a part of his next film that he is co-producing with Himesh Reshammiya.
According to an industry source, apart from John Abraham, Akshay got along with the veteran actor like a house on fire. “They’re very particular about their respective workout sessions and have a great love for food.
Vikram: Himesh has always been a fantastic music director. Once I narrated the script to Himesh, he was quick to understand the intricacies of a complex film like Dangerous Ishhq. My brief to him was make music of yesterday for listeners of today and I am delirious with the soundtrack he’s composed.
Karisma: The album is really fantastic. Himesh has done a brilliant job. The album goes with the past lives so there is a different song for every life. Like Vikram said, its music from different era’s but it has to appeal to the audience today. So I think that’s the most important thing that has worked and is going in favor of the music of Dangerous Ishhq.
Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan is all set to recreate his iconic entry scene in the song ‘My Name is Anthony Gonsalves’ for Abhishek Bachchan-Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Bol Bachchan’.
The song from ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ showed Amitabh popping out of a life sized egg. The makers are now planning to recreate this same scene for ‘Bol Bachchan’ title track video.

Rohit Shetty is all set to shoot the title song of the film Bol Bachchan. What’s unique about this is that the track will feature none other than Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen shaking a leg with film’s lead actors Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn.
If that wasn’t enough, Big B has also sung the track with music interludes that features the veteran actor mouthing iconic dialogues from his hit movies. Besides, Abhishek has also sung a few lines in the track making it the first after ‘Kajra Re’ (Bunty Aur Babli).
Himesh Reshammiya had been rather close to the Deols till June 2007. That’s when his acting debut flick Aap Ka Suroor clashed with Dharmendra, Sunny, Bobby starrer Apne at the box office.
Himesh, who had at the time asked the Deols to push the release of their film, had been a bit upset at their polite refusal. But the composersinger-actor is not one to hold grudges for long. Mirror has learnt that Himesh has been signed on to create the music for the Deols’ upcoming sequel to 2011 hit Yamla Pagla Deewana.
As a token of gratitude to the medium of music that has earned him fame and fortune, Himesh Reshammiya is planning to build a chain of institutes. A true Gujarati at heart, the singer-composer-actor has decided to start the first institute in his home state.
