Interview Excerpt: Singer Pawni Pandey shares her experience of working with Himeshji

Published by under HR Musik Limited,HR News

Then I worked with Himesh sir. I really adore him as a person as well. I have met him quite a lot of times. I have travelled with him quite a lot of times. And he is so humble and a very caring person. Many people don’t know this about him that he really cares a lot about his singers, he really cares for his artists. When I was working on Bodyguard, I had got the call from Himesh sir’s studio at 11 in the night that there is this song that needs to be dubbed and we need to dub it urgently because the song needs to go for shoot. So you have to come for the recording of the song at 7 in the morning, which is very uncanny for our field, because we are used to recording at 10 in the night, 11 in the night or probably 7 in the evening but nobody records at 7 in the morning. So I was like Oh My God! But when I reached the studio, Himesh sir wasn’t able to make it to the studio but I remember he was constantly on the call with me. He made it a point that he was available for the recording. I don’t know where he was, but we were recording like that. So that really affected me a lot that he is so concerned. He appreciated me a lot, even after that he was really sweet.

Aap Se Mausiiquii: Himeshji praises Iulia Vantur

Published by under Aap Se Mausiiquii

Singer-composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya, who teamed up with Iulia Vantur for his latest album Aap Se Mausiiquii, says she has a Bollywood mainstream voice.

“When I first heard her voice, it was like (hearing a) Bollywood mainstream voice. Initially, I didn’t know whether she could sing in Hindi, but when I sent her the song, she completed the dubbing in one hour,” Himesh said on Tuesday at the on location shoot of “Every night and day”, a song from the album.

“Usually, best singers take four to five hours for it. She has sung the song without auto tuning. She has an angelic voice and I would like to collaborate with her in new songs as well,” he added.

Aap Se Mausiiquii: Himeshji and Iulia shoot for the official video of Every Night and Day

Iulia Vantur and Himesh Reshammiya have been spotted together a lot of times but mostly for work. Recently, Himesh and Iulia Vantur performed together at an awards show. And this time, these two have collaborated for her first single song ‘Every Night and Day!’ alongside the music director. Although Iulia Vantur had earlier lent her voice for the reprised version of Baby Ko Bass but ideally, this song will mark the debut of Iulia Vantur as a singer in Bollywood.

Recently, Himesh and Iulia Vantur released a making teaser video of the song and going by it, we are sure the song will be a rage. As per reports, Iulia Vantur had rehearsed for long before she recorded the song. As for the song, it is predominantly in Hindu but the hook line is in English. As we all know, Iulia Vantur is well-versed with Hindi and this song is proof of it.

While Iulia Vantur looked beautiful wearing a shimmery black gown, Himesh looked his usual in the semi-casual avatar. In an interview, Himesh said that he had essentially offered this song to Iulia after he heard her rendition of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from Sultan. But what’s interesting is the mélange of Himesh and Iulia’s voice and we can’t wait to hear the song.

Looks like Iulia Vantur is a busy woman as right after returning from her Maldives trip with the Khans, she is back to business and is going all out to promote her singing talent in the industry.

Interview Excerpt: Akasa Singh talks about Himeshji

Published by under HR News

How did you get your first Bollywood break?

Himesh Reshammiya was the mentor of a show I did – ‘India’s Raw Star’. When he heard me sing for the first time he promised me that he’d give me a break in Bollywood. After the show, a lot of people asked me whether I got a chance in Bollywood. An acquaintance gave me Himesh’s contact number and pushed me to talk to him. I messaged him ‘Hi Himesh ji, Akasa here. Hope you are well’ and in reply he texted, ‘Hi Akasa hope you are well, come to the studio tomorrow, we’ll dub a song’. It was as if I reminded him about his promise. When I went to the studio the next day, he told me, Tum apne tarike me gao. That was the best part, and I sang the song, ‘Tu kheench meri photo’ from Sanam Teri Kasam in that ‘masti wala’ tone. He liked my tone and that’s how I got my break in Bollywood. Kafi filmy kahaani hai meri! (laughs)
