Reshammiya – The A factor

Guess what’s the common factor between Reshammiya’s success and films for which he composes for? They start with the letter A, well, in most of the cases!

The dream run that has started since the musical release of ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ was only consolidated with the success of ‘Aksar’. This has been followed by a bumper response to his first private album ‘Aap Ka Surroor’ that has been doing great business even till date. And if the hat-trick of ‘A’ successes wasn’t enough, now Reshammiya’s ‘Ahista Ahista’ promises to take the success story forward with good sales within a week of its release.

Yes, there have been hit score in films like ‘Tom Dick and Harry’, ’36 China Town’ and to an extent ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ as well but the ‘A’ connection is unparalleled. No wonder musical score from films like ‘Anthony Kaun Hai?’ and ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ is keenly anticipated?

Are the makers of other upcoming films already thinking about renaming the titles to make the begin with ‘A’?
