Himesh Reshammiya, the superstar of Bollywood music.
If you watch Indian television or follow Bollywood music, there is no way that you do not know about Bollywood’s latest sensation Himesh Reshammiya. Himesh is a prolific music director who is churning out hits after hits and has set a new trend with his catchy tunes and his rockstar look. His latest hits Ahista Ahista, 36 China Town and Phir Hera Pheri are all chartbusters. Let us take a look at Himesh’s amazing rise.

Himesh Reshammiya started his music career with Salman Khan starrer Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, followed by Bandhan. Himesh was first noticed for the superhit songs of Tere Naam. Salman Khan has been the godfather of Himesh and Himesh has high regard and has thanked Salman Khan in multiple platforms including IIFA Awards. Himesh shot to fame with the song Aashiq Banaya Aapne which he sang himself. With the success of Aashiq Banaya, there was no stopping. Himesh won the Zee Awards for the Best Singer and recently won the prestigious IIFA Best Singer award for Aashiq Banaya.

Himesh has become so popular among youngsters that movie promotions have Himesh featuring in the videos. Recently Himesh was asked by TSeries to compose the title track of Humko Deewana Kar Gaye even though the album was composed by Anu Mallik. Needless to say, the title track became a superhit and the video had Himesh featuring in it. While other music directors are struggling to deliver a single hit song in a year, Himesh Reshammiya has hit the right chords with the youth dancing their way to his peppy tunes. Recently Bollywood’s respected music composer, A.R.Rehman was quoted saying that he was really moved by Himesh’s Aashiq Banaya song.

Himesh’s album Aap Ka Suroor had multiple chartbusters and he is on a world tour named after the album. Himesh sports a baseball cap, a beard and tight jeans. The look worked and movie producers are lining up to get Himesh feature in their title videos. Himesh was single handedly responsible for the box office success of the movie Aaksar and Tom Dick and Harry. Though Himesh has attained immense popularity, he has been at the receiving end of endless jokes for his nasal tone and similar tunes. But if you follow Bollywood music, you can either love Himesh Reshammiya or hate him but cannot ignore Himesh !! Way to go Himesh !!

I really like Himesh Songs unki aawaz dil se nikalti hain & harek gaane main ek alag hie maja aata hain.     This compliment is for from my sons side ….a “8 months old ” boy who i think would be your “youngest FAN” . He had stopped eating recently after his sickness. But seems to be a great fan of yours , once he sees your songs on TV he would eat anything and not only this he dances on ur beats.I must say he loves u n ur singing.Our family has strarted calling u his “Topi wale uncle”.
    Just wanted to congratulate u on his behalf that even before children start speaking or understanding any language they already “love ur language of music”.
