Himeshji does the nation proud!!!!

Published by Jem at 5:45 pm under HR News

Himesh is the first Indian to perform at the renowned Wembley Stadium, London. At the live performance last night, the euphoric audience swore a star is born.

Elton John, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones and Himesh Reshammiya… Well, what’s common amongst them? It’s the Wembley!

Gracefully crooning down the pages in history, Himesh broke all records and emerged a winner. The evidence was all there last night as the audience at the stadium sang, wept and laughed with the singing sensation and kept yearning for more.

As the Kitne armaan jaage tere waste soniye resounded in the air, in a true rock star style (an unknown facet in India), hundreds of flood lights bore down on this 31-year-old Bollywood singer as he made a grand… urr no, a rather simple entry and connected instantly with his fans. And then there was a magic spell as he made his announcements too…

The cine buzz: The awestruck audience, who were asked to remember the one they truly loved all through the concert, had much to take back home as Himesh announced his forthcoming film Aap Kaa Surroor, presented by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chadha.

This two-hour, hi-tech, dramatic thriller featuring some mind-blowing picturisation shot across 18 countries, apart from nine new tracks, is also launching two pretty Indian faces.

Style check: The world knows Himesh by his solitary signature look, always sporting a cap. Affirming his style, the singer will now reach out to his fans by endorsing an accessories line titled ‘Cool bhi hit bhi’.

On the anvil is also a unisex line under M3 (Mega Music Movement). This will unfold accessories under sections Jhalak, Jhoom, Aashiq and Surroor all of these come under the Pantaloons brand.

Music schools: Creating waves with 36 everlasting hits in a span of just one year, Himesh has realised the lack of facilities and opportunities for any music lover in the nation.

Hence, he is now starting two hi-tech, sophisticated music schools, done up with Italian architecture in each metro of India.

Offering various genres of music under categories like amateurs, professionals and gifted singers, the schools will be on the roll by next year.

Soon, the announcements made way for some more singing and dedications were made to the kids with I love you o sayori. Many youngsters too got to jig with the singer on stage.

Pretty lasses enjoyed a medley of melodies with dedications made to them by the singer himself. And the roller coaster ride just got merrier with people dancing, cheering and applauding, oh so pleasantly.

And ultimately, hearts swelled with pride when Himesh got a standing ovation at the conclusion of his performance.
Guess when an Indian wins hearts in the British rajya, indeed words don’t come easily…
