Himeshji to perform in Mumbai!!!(Interview)

Himesh Reshammiya’s fans in Mumbai will not have to wait for long to see the singer perform as the singer will be performing for the first time in the city on New Year’s Eve at Renaissance in Powai. Himesh intends to turn the auditorium into a night club with his performance on the big night.

Himesh confirms, “Yes, it is true that I am yet to perform in Mumbai and I will be having my Aap Ka Surroor show in Mumbai on the December 31. This will be the first time that I will be performing in the city. I will also have a special show in the afternoon for children as I firmly believe that they are my biggest fans. Normally on New Years Eve, people tend to keep children away so we arranged a special show for them.”

So why has he not performed in Mumbai so far? “I am a Mumbaiite and it is my duty to perform in Mumbai when I have something good to offer in terms of my songs. I have never performed on the New Year’s Eve as I always believe in working on January 1 every year as it is the first day of a new year. I believe that if I can work on January 1 then I will be flooded with work on all the other days through out the year. I also never avoid working on my birthday or any festivals. Now I will be working right from the second when the New Year starts as I will be on stage when the clock strikes midnight on December 31,” adds Himesh.

Commenting on the new publicity hoardings all over Mumbai that show Himesh as a sex symbol, he says, “I think I am taking good care of my body and have lost all the extra weight that I had gained over the years. I am taking special care of my looks for my new film Aapka Surroor- The Real Love Story. We have promised that it will be the biggest film ever and we are leaving no stone unturned for that. These hoardings show my new lean look in the film. We will start shooting next month in Germany as the last minute details are being finalised.

    Dear Himesh…

    Well I am sure that the concert.. is going to rock.. but would love to give you a recommendation… you should had booked the MMRDA ground and make the event larger than life… rather than doing it renaissance… Renaissance scales your event.. down..

    Neways.. wotever it is.. I want to be a part of this… beautiful experience…
