Himeshji to perform in Mumbai!!!(Interview)

Himesh Reshammiya’s fans in Mumbai will not have to wait for long to see the singer perform as the singer will be performing for the first time in the city on New Year’s Eve at Renaissance in Powai. Himesh intends to turn the auditorium into a night club with his performance on the big night.

Himesh confirms, “Yes, it is true that I am yet to perform in Mumbai and I will be having my Aap Ka Surroor show in Mumbai on the December 31. This will be the first time that I will be performing in the city. I will also have a special show in the afternoon for children as I firmly believe that they are my biggest fans. Normally on New Years Eve, people tend to keep children away so we arranged a special show for them.”

‘Imitation is the best form of flattery’

Himesh Reshammiya reacts on the emergence of his clones

They say that you’ve arrived when people start imitating you. That’s perhaps what’s happening with singer-musician Himesh Reshammiya. Several Himesh clones have mushroomed.

Recently, a fan of his, also his look-alike, claimed that he wanted to devote an album to his mentor. On several television shows, there are Himesh wannabes. Some channels have even come up with satirical takes on his success.

“What can I say? Imitation is the best form of flattery. That’s all I will say. I know for sure that 99 per cent of people, including my fans, are there with me. The media has been so kind to me.” He adds, “But one percent of the people are against me. Inshallah! I will win them over with love,” he says confidently.

My all time fave of Himeshji has to be “Naam Hai Tera” ;;) – I think I must have listened to it more than 100 times :D
