News: Aap Kaa Surroor, the moviee
The singer, who is making his debut as an actor in his film Aap Ka Surroor – The Real Love Story, is now going ahead and shooting two endings for his film. It has been learnt that two climaxes are currently being shot in Berlin, Germany. While one will be a happy ending where Himesh unites with his lady love (played by newcomer Riya), the second will have a tragic ending. The climax is action-packed to boot. There are two choppers and one private jet do the rounds in the sky, while 10 BMWs speed on the roads, for the final sequence.
A unit member present on the sets of the film informs, “The climax is being shot right now in Germany and obviously Himesh is taking a lot of pains to make it as interesting as possible. Interestingly, this film will reveal a lot many things about Himesh’s personal life as well, like why he seldom smiles, why he always wears a cap and why his music videos always have tragic endings. Will he be united with his heroine at the end? Well, that remains to be seen.”
When we contact Himesh, he adds to the suspense, saying, “I’m not yet sure about the ending of my film. Whether it will be a sad or happy ending, you will have to wait and watch. The film will release on June 29. We’ll complete our 40-day shooting schedule in Germany on April 3, after which we will leave for a 35-day schedule in Bangkok and Singapore. However I would like to add that shooting all over Germany has been a great experience and God has been very kind since we got fantastic weather which suited the look of the film.”

when movies like aksar and tom dick harry were hits and made profits solely n only due to himesh’s music..then i have no hesitation whatsoever by saying that his debut film will also be a hit..now how big a hit god knows,but definitely it has the potential also to be a super/mega-hit if not a blockbuster..im saying this coz the film isnt being made under a real big banner n i dont know how good a job prashant chadda,the director will know,will he be upto it,coz i know that himesh will definitely be….the only possible thing that can dent this film (the way i forsee)….is if fate n luck or some unxepected unforseen event occurs…but then again….but offlate himesh is turning even coal into gold…the way i see it,this guy aint in any kind mood to share the cake of success with anyone,he is the ‘bollywood allrounder’!

@die hard HR fanatic – 1st time I disagree with you…lol…actually Himeshji has always said “there is room for everyone in the music industry” (hence he is always looking out for new talent e.g.SRGMP) so I don’t think he’d mind sharing his success with everyone

Great News Jem, I really cant wait for the release b/c i wanna know what the ending is gonna be like. And I have a question, the release date for the moviee changed to June 29, for sure, or is this date still undecided? I also cant wait for the music release b/c its comin out april 15!!!!!!!!!!

Hey mani…am still not 100% sure about June 29th (as have heard 6th of july as well)…let’s see what happens, im sure once the film is done we will hear a proper release date which will be posted here when we get the news

@jem….i agree himesh is a down to earth n a humble man but always misunderstood in the past by some segment of people to be arrogant n ungiving….himesh has always promoted new talent..the finalists of saregama 2005 r a living proof..but i remeber once what salman khan said “himesh reshammiya nahi bolta hai,himesh ka kaam bolta hai”
….well,going by that its true n while referring to the cake of success @context to aap ka suroor – the moviee,i meant that for the first time (unlike other films) he’s gonna steal the total show ‘commercially and critically’ for his music direction,singing n acting which’s gonna be unimaginably huge (for him n also us,his fans!)…n ur right..if he succeeds..he will share his success..in the sense..it will do a whole lot of good for prashant chadda’s career,the new actresses..infact 4 evry1 involved under the whole banner….
@evry1..i feel that the moviee should have a happy ending so that people come out smiling rather than feeling sad/frowning..n that it will be a pleasant change as compared to his ‘predictable’ music video endings n i hope that the ending leaves a scope for..umm..another sequel in the near future!

but tragical endings remain in our mind for long……
A best example is Himsh’s own musical hit Tere Naam.

I think the song “Lagan lagi” of Tere Naam isn’t composed by Himesh but by Sajid-Wajid. u havent mentioned that.

A.R.Rahman gave music for Roja when he was 26 years old.Himesh Reshammiya gave music 2 the film Bandhan with Anand Raj Anand when he was 25 years old.Eventhough he sang more than Rahman & acted but he didn’t became the Rahman of Hindi.Because the no. of people who loved him & hated him were almost the same.
But the songs of Namastey London which were composed by Himesh has occupied the 1st place in Hit charts.He, the son of Gujarati music director Vipinji Reshammiya is solacing by saying that he is the only music director to give 36 hits last year & those who hate him are only 1%.If we say that he is singing with nose then he will ask “What about Mukesh? “.

I’ve heard that the soundtrack will be released in May?! And the premiere will be at 29th of June as the production takes more time than expected…
I’m from Germany and our news agency covered the shooting here. So I was a little bit shocked about the indian way of making a film. I think the german service-crew members were shocked as well ;-) It’s very funny to shoot a film without any idea of the (happy) end. The script wasn’t ready when they started to shoot here :-o
Btw: All indian film-crew members are very kind, and of course Himesh, Prashant and Manoj as well! Himesh is a very nice and down to earth guy. The film music will be great, I’ve got the opportunity to hear some of its songs…

I live in Suriname and there was a show planned of Himesh on 7th april in my country, but the show was cancelled. De organisation informed us that the reason that Himesh didn’t come to Suriname, was because he had visa problems, as he was planned to travel from France to Holland where he would take the flight to Suriname.
Now I don’t know if this is true, but me and a lot of people in my country would like to know the truth.
So if somebody of Himeshji is reading this, could you please respond and tell me what is going on.

@Alexandra: Hi, the date of the 15th April has been mentioned in some interviews…but it looks like that date seems to be referring to the promos if the soundtrack will be released in May…thanks so much for telling us all this, it is much appreciated!
