Exclusive news on Aap Kaa Surroor: HR2!!!

Himesh Reshammiya has decided to go all out to ensure that his debut film, Aap Kaa Surroor: The Moviee The Real Luv Story is a success. As part of the promotion strategy, Himesh has created an animated character resembling himself (even the trademark cap is in place!).

Talking about the animation video he says, my character is called HR2 and will be seen in the music video for the remix version of Tera Mera Milna. I have been working along with the guys from K Communications on this for the last eight to nine months.

Calling it nothing like any other animation film seen before, Himesh says kids along with adults will enjoy the video.

“I know there has been animation in films like Hum Tum before. But this is totally different. We have a very cute love story between the two characters in the video.

Also great efforts have been taken to sync the sound with the movement of the characters.

It not only looks fabulous, but is also entertaining.”

In the movie, too Himesh says the idea came to him during a discussion with his director and associate Prashant Chaddha.

“Both of us thought it would be a great idea to incorporate animation in the film and make it more lively. Also my film is for all age groups and I want kids to come and see it as well.”

Slated to go on air on June 10, the video will have HR2 as Himesh make an announcement of the movie date. “HR2 will tell the audience that the movie releases on June 29. It will be aired on all the music channels.”

Apart from appearing in the music video, the animated characters will also make an appearance in the movie. “The audience will also see HR2 in my movie and the animation blends very well with the plot.”

    Like his music, adore his outspoken & straight nature – though he ends up attracting lots of criticism 99/100 times :), & wish him success in his upcoming movie.

    I have myself thought many times, tht some of his tht he himself sung wud’ve perhaps been too good if other singers were to sing the same originally, but then, but lately, watching him on saregama, the depth in tht voice cannot be unseen.

    He is an example of the saying… “woh ghum bhi hamkoo azeez hein….kyon ki yeh unhii ki dee huii cheez hein…”

    He surely has been thru the depths of luv…..unable to let go & move on…
    Now…how sweet is tht!! Aisa ashiq har din nahin milthe :)

    my family is waiting badly to see this movie in cinemas.
    there needs to be more promotion done in AUSTRALIA.
    there’s plenty indians here who loves himesh as well. so please do something to promote this movie here specially in Melbourne and Sydney….anyone with any clue for the release date in melbourne..

    @Prayag: Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee is expected to have worldwide release on 29th June – so I think it should be shown in Australia on that day too!

    anyways you produce real good music and APS -the movie’s songs are also wonderful, but the mehbooba song was not that good ??!!
