Singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya makes a birthday resolution to do one charity show across the country for the cause of street children.
“This birthday is special for me. For till last year I was just a singer. This year I sport a new feather of being an actor in my hat,” says an excited Himesh Reshammiya. His mother’s blessings seem to have worked well for him as his debut flick Aap Kaa Surroor – The Movie – The Real Luv Story, coincided with his mother’s birthday on June 29 this year. Having received a whopping opening, the flick is termed a success by established trade analysts.
Speaking about matters close to his heart, the actor says that he plans to initiate some charitable move dedicated to the cause of street children. Making a birthday resolution, Himesh says that children are closest to his heart. “My heart bleeds when I see street urchins who do not have the privilege of education and primary healthcare. So I will be doing one mega concert across the nation where the money raised will be given away in charity for the cause of street children,” declares the debutant. He also intends to work harder as expectations are higher from his audience and “I want to walk the distance to win hearts of my fans.”
This birthday has also brought in some exciting news of acting in big banner movies. “I am in talks with directors and offered roles which have acting and singing as a combination . I am still finalising my plans. It’s too early to speak about them. But the scripts I am approached with, sound quite promising .” So, here’s wishing the birthday boy good luck ahead.

himesh bhai it is really good that you think this way. there are countless people around us who are in great need for our help. i believe that allah gives us not only to satisfy our needs and wants but to help others as well. it is undoubtly true that it is allah who gives people and not we humans but he chooses among his people to help others and allah has choosen you and he wants to give those poor people through you because he loves you as you are very open hearted and kind and possess the quality of feeling the pain of people around you. this can be best judged by Sudhakar Sharma’s example. may allah bless you and keep doing achay kaam. =D nida
