Your Review: New promos of Darling on air!!

Hello Friends!!

I am sure many of you have seen the new promos of Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Darling’ (*Fardeen Khan & Esha Deol) which are picturised on 1 duet song sung by Himeshji: ‘Tadap Tadap Ho Tum’!!

Seeing as Himeshji has only composed one song for the film (original & remix version rest of the songs are composed by Pritam) we want to know what you all think of the song!!! So please tell us your views here!!! I personally love the song!!! It sounds very different to Himeshji’s other compositions yet it still has his unique violin touches to it!!

    assalamalikum
    the song is superb, especially the starting of it. and the music too is great. it has been sung very beautifully. when the first time i heard ‘ooooooo’ it was so pleasing that it held my attention and i turned back towards t.v. and asked my sister is’nt it himesh bhai. may allah bless him=D.

    Well Jem, the song is fantastic. Very well composed.
    The remix version also is super. But Jem on B4U Music it’s written special to HIMESH RESHAMMIYA. What does this mean?
    Jem I’ve heard that Himeshji is releasing an album this year. Is it true? Did you hear something related to this topic?

    The music of Darling is awesome… I love the tracks..Tadap, Saathiya, Hasaye Bhi Rulaye Bhi, Akele Tanha… also all their remixes..which are nicely done.. Simply faboulous album..

    Its one of those album which i liked juz in first hearing…

    My fav song of the album is Hasaye Bhi Rulaaye bhi..totally awesome song!

    Call it coincidence or not, both top “regularly consistent” composers share an album….however from now on it seems that pritam will lead this race as reshammiya has reduced his quantity of music….Top tune….superb, awesome, classy, mind blowing and all those sort of words….i don’t have words for this song, the more you praise it the less it is….HR has hit the bulls eye and a sixer again….this song deserves no.1 position on all countdowns….this is a song that truly stands out from all his songs since ABA….where and how does he come up with such tunes is beyond me?!….this song grows on you on repeat hearing….and most importantly different and an original tune….there is a deadly lethal combination of a typical raga based instrument in between and western sufi-fuzion beats….classical east meets rocking west….an instrument is also used throughout the song that was used in the ending portions of aashiq banaya aapne (along with when the extra beats are added on in ABA)….it is one of my favorite HR instrument in the current scene and I think it may be a trumpet….hope you can identify from the song what I am talking about….the only thing that I can associate with another song is the stanzas of this song and the stanzas of viraaniya….and the oooooooo sounds soothingly nice…..does samjho na come to mind there….and a faint pattern to the lines “aare aare”(shabe firaq)….everyone (including a donkey who brays and enjoys HR songs from the open window of a nearby house) knows what himesh reshammiya is best at….music….and now that he has drastically cut down on it….it is sort of a tragedy for me….and one of the worst things that could have possibly ever happened!….and if I feel that way then I think I ought to be one of his biggest fans or may be the biggest (for his music) in this freakin planet….I don’t mind taking part in the “who is the biggest HR fan for his music (and not acting) competition, if there was ever one, to prove this….id bet that youd come really well prepared coz I would give you run for your money, a real rough time and push you to the core limit….and ask me nything from ny of the songs since his debut until now….and im a proud HR fan when I say this coz I know that I can back this up and its not that I have done some kinda “masters of HR”, its just there….ummm….on a second thought….just forget this HR fan thing but also at the same time never mess with me….peace….and infact….let the fans keep waiting for and miss out on such songs in the future….himesh fans you asked for it and so will receive….and then they will realize the value of them….”whatever we have, we don’t value it….its just that we only realize the value of something when it is no longer there”…. Anyway, no worries, no point crying over spilt milk….I am optimistic that this decision will change in the near future and I can only hope for better things to come….for now, rocking tune this one!

    I feel that afreen (Red), tanhayiaan, yahi hota hai pyar (Namastey London) and perhaps too early to say tadap (Darling) are the best songs of HR so far in 2007, and three of the above mentioned songs (except tanhaiyaan) are better than some of the songs of Aap ka suroor – the movie.

    @toushtee: Hi! I haven’t seen what you’re saying on B4U music yet, I can only assume that it means that the song is special to himeshji because its the only song he has sung for the film!! :D

    I think tadap ho tum is a exclennt song, its composed and sung very well by himesh ji, i luv the song!!!!!!!!!and thank god the rest of the songs are not his cuz they SUK!!!!!!!!!!!! besides aa khushis se khud khushi kar le…… KEEP IT UP HIMESJI!!!!!!!!!!

    the song is fantastic. But i have one suggestion to Himesh. I feel he should continue composing songs for other films and not only his films. because some of his songs..usually fast numbers suit other heroes. and i feel slow songs suit Himesh. Hence Himesh i am a fan of yours I feel you should sing for other heroes also. because most of ur hit songs are picturised on other heroes. So Himesh sir pls think on my suggestion.     HR having hits matter..but having hits wid class quality matters more.. This way his quality is gonna improve more… and we are in for some really superb and better songs from HR now.. I agree wid what decision took for his music career..he should have reduced..regardless of what reason..whether its acting.. or whatever..

    the starting of the song is fantastic! the song it self is very nice.. the music.. meanings.. tunes.. wow!

    Oh man this song is supperb…when i listen to this with my earphones on and volume a bit louder…it touches the heart…
    im sure Himesh would have put lot of efforts to compose this song and this is going to be the reson in pulling crowds to buy the album….

    This Proves the fact that…Himesh need not do the full album…One song in an album can also make him OWN the album.
    I am waitin to see more albums in Varma and Himesh combination…

    @Saaheb, Hi, the release got pushed back, promos were on air in may/june but got taken off coz of the release date altho i have heard that the CD for nanhe jaisalmer is out now :D
