Urmila to Play Simi Garewal’s Role in the Remake of Karz

After performing a sizzling item song in RGV Ki Aag, actress Urmila Matondkar is all set to play Kamini in the remake of the film Karz. Kamini was played by Simi Garewal in the original film.

According to Bhushan Kumar of T Series, Urmila was their first choice as they didn’t want someone too old; and Urmila fits the bill. He also informs about a special song in the first half of the film.

Urmila takes this role as a challenge. She looks forward to do this song which has been added especially for her. Singer turned actor, Himesh Reshmmiya will portray Rishi Kapoor’s role and the film will be directed by Satish Kaushik. However they are yet to zero down on an actress for Tina Munim’s role in the film.

    hey,

    I have a request. I am trying to get a contact info of a contestant named Joy Chakraborty, who was in Himesh’s gharana in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2007. I thought if you have contact info of Himesh Ji, then you could get that info from him… I know it is far fetched try but I really need to contact Joy regarding a music album. I am looking for song writer and since I like Joy’s style of music, I thought of giving him a chance. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated! thanks so much.

    well….i really don’t and have never liked mallika sherawat,sushmita sen and urmila matondkar…they don’t even come in my third grade choice

    another thing to share with every1..i have a uni mate called surendran mohandass naidu..hez a south indian and dosent understand hindi at all..n since i keep promoting HR amognst ma friendz,i got him introduced to HR’s music..and he is one of the few lucky indians and may be the only south indian in Adelaide who is up to date with latest HR songs,and time-to-time he asks me whether any new HR album has released….and all my friends tell me “himess” when they want 2 pull my leg..another thing that i hav managed to do twice in the cd shop..at separate instances there was a chineese and an aussie guy trying to buy cds..and both times i ended up convincing them to buy HR albums..one guy bought AKS-the movie (audio cd) and aashiq banaya aapne and the other guy bought best of HR (video dvd)….saying that HR was the best Indian musician and that they wont regret buying it..n that whenever they enter that shop again then remember one name “himesh reshammiya” B-)

    it’s really disappointing to know that urmila will be beside himesh in this movie quite a bad choice i must say, i mean urmila is not such a gud actress n himesh n urmila don’t make a gud pair :( many people dont like her, but about her performance i don’t know, perhaps she’ll be do well or maybe the character suits her, but still i care a damn abt that bcoz i think if she will be in this movie, it won’t do well at the box-office..all i can do is to hope that she will give her best performance in this movie >:P
