Himeshji’s “new” look in Karzzzz….
Karzzzz is going to be Himesh Reshmmiya’s second film as an actor. And comparisons with Rishi Kapoor, who played the lead role in Subhash Ghai’s Karz is only natural. If the first look of Karzzzz is anything to go by, Himesh will be in his usual cap and jacket look, even though director Satish Kaushik insists, “Himesh will look completely different in this film.” According to him, Himesh will look like a rock star.
When asked about his look, Himesh informs that his sister Rupa will be designing his new rock star look. Rupa Chaddha is his rakhi sister and has been designing Himesh’s look ever since her brother Prashant Chadha and Himesh worked on music videos together. Now she is responsible for his look in concerts, videos and films too. Rupa is a graphic designer by profession. “I have done graphic designing but when Prashant started directing and producing videos, I started designing for Himesh,” she explains.
About Himesh’s rockstar look in Karzzzz , she says, “The idea of a ‘rockstar’ doesn’t exist in India. But the idea behind designing one is to begin a trend. Abroad singers who perform on stage are normally dressed in casuals. It’s only Michel Jackson who goes out of his way to ‘dress up’. Otherwise most of them are in baseball caps and that was the real inspiration behind Himesh’s cap. It worked in his first album, so we got superstitious and continued with it. I didn’t know then that it would become a huge trend and that people will start associating Himesh with his cap.”
Himesh plays a character of Monty which was played Rishi Kapoor. So will Rishi Kapoor’s look in the original be a reference point for her? ” Karzzzz is actually a modern version of today’s world. Rishi Kapoor was one of the trendiest actors in Bollywood at that time, so there will be some shades of his style. Also a lot of old fashion is back. Himesh himself has a rock star image so it will help a lot,” she says.
Rupa is set with her preparations. She has shopped from Europe and Hong Kong. “All these years we have been trying to create ‘Himesh Reshmmiya’, but now that he has moved to the field of acting he has to look according to the role. He will be seen in caps but they won’t be the hot topic of discussion. The large portion of the film will be shot without a cap. He will not be seen in his jackets as he has lost lots of weight for his role. Himesh will be seen in clothes that will flatter him and the audiences,” she concludes.

as he has now started acting also ,instead of following the same look.
Roopa ji is working really hard for new look of himeshji.

himesh is really working hard for his film and roopaji is also working hard on himesh’s look i think till date roopa is the one and only best designer for himeshji.
