Hello Reshammiyans!

I am sure many of you are aware that Himeshji has given the music for Kamal Hasan’s latest film: “Dasavatharam”. The music released on the 25th April 2008 and had the prescence of Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Jackie Chan at its launch. The soundtrack has been released in both Hindi & Tamil. Now it is time to give your own music review!

For astrological reasons, Tuesday was a day of hectic activity for Himesh Reshammiya. There were two mahurats to attend one after another. He barely finished recording the first song for Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Mudh Ke at the Empire Studio in central Mumbai when he had to rush to the suburbs for the first day’s shooting of Kajraare.

The muhurat of Bhushan Kumar’s KAJRAARE was a very simple and homely affair at Film City, Goregaon. Veteran filmmaker Johny Bakshi sounded the clapper board while Mahesh Bhatt was there to boost the morale of daughter director Pooja Bhatt’s team, Creative director Divya Khosla Kumar started the camera while playback singer Tulsi Kumar and music director-hero Himesh Reshammiya were discussing the intricacies of the number she is rendering in KAJRAARE. Writer Shagufta Rafiq, Monalaizza and Ajay Kapoor, Director T-Series, made their presence felt.

Last year, Himesh Reshammiya’s acting debut Aap Kaa Surroor was released alongside Apne and Awarapan. Reportedly, Himesh’s second release, Karzzzz, is expected to hit the screens this October and if rumour mills are to be believed, in the same week as the Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini. That’s the speculation within the industry.

Jackie Chan arrived in Chennai to participate in the audio launch of the ‘Dasavadharam’ on Thursday. He was surrounded by media persons and fans at the airport.

Jackie will be taking part in the audio launch of ‘Dasavadharam’, which will be attended by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, actors Amitabh Bachchan, Mammootty, Hemamalini, Asin among others.

A grand dais has been put up at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for the mega event.

Now he has requested his mother, Madhoo to perform the mahurat ceremony of his upcoming film, Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke on April 29, which launches with a song recording.

Himesh also had the biggest show of his life at the Wembley Arena in London on the October 29, 2006 where he announced his film Aap Kaa Surroor . He announced his three films Karzzzz, A Love Iiisshtory and Kajraare on October 29 last year.
