Kamal Hasan talking about Himeshji!
What made you choose Himesh Reshammiya to score the music for your film?
Himesh told me that it’s going to be his last film as a music composer. When his name was suggested, I didn’t know who he was. I was skeptical. I didn’t know this new name. But let me tell you frankly he surprised me at the very first meeting.
Jackie Chan has express his interest to work with you.
Yes he did express it, which is nice to hear but I don’t know how true it will become. But I trust his words and probably we will be working together in future.
There are two beautiful ladies Mallika and Asin. What was the experience like?
Mallika was there for obvious reasons, as she is there in most of her films, so that’s very special about her. As far as Asin is concerned, I would say that she has put in a lot of hard work which I could see but its the audience who will decide her performance.

Its so sad that Himesh isn`t composing for others,I want more music from him
Why is he behind acting?
come one himesh you gotta compose music too and sing more songs we miss them but i guess he wants to act more
@jerin….you are the only other fan (apart from me) who has said and feels this way…”Himesh told me that it’s going to be his last film as a music composer”…his new decision is indeed a shocking,shattering and heart-breaking decision from my viewpoint…i truly feel like sobbing:(
@topic: After the success of Himeshji’s debut film “Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee: The Real Luv Story” (which I am sure you have all seen
) it is no doubt that Himeshji would want to persue his acting career. He has also always said that one should change their track every 2 years. Plus it is not easy to compose continuously and be expected to deliver a hit track everytime. Jem
@die hard hr fan
come on dude..as a fan v have to respect his decision…still dere r many years to come…may be he can change his decision in future
@jem…
“After the success of Himeshji’s debut film “Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee: The Real Luv Story” it is no doubt that Himeshji would want to persue his acting career” – it is beyond any doubt that every fan misses his/her fair share of HR’s music…the question is not even about his acting career anymore…i also support it…the question now is about a way to increase music…
“He has also always said that one should change their track every 2 years” – so would that imply that he would sideline acting after two years and pursue another career…may be go into production,direction etc etc
“Plus it is not easy to compose continuously and be expected to deliver a hit track everytime” – the demand is not dozen of albums a year or an album every fortnight…just request for a few more exclusive ones…perhaps even cutting couple of his own albums…
…i appreciate the fact that every fan has his own viewpoint which would not necessarily match with others…so the debate would be never-ending…but i have some key issues and ideas that i would like to express…in the music section – preferably in music review of dasavatham (if and when it is put up)…and if you or any other fans could provide justification and feedback to only those suggestions, then it would be great n constructive and i won’t mention them repeatedly…
@die hard HR fanatic: the topic for music review Dasavatharam is now up
so feel free to post there
I didn’t know who he was. I was skeptical. I didn’t know this new name:-O>:P
i am felling very bad as himeshji is concentrating mainly for acting in his films rather doing music for others. i would like to have more music from him. I feel happy if he does only two films for a year atleast.
