News: Himeshji
We’ve heard that Himesh Reshammiya is pushing himself too hard, wanting to achieve too much too soon. As a result, he has become a victim of overwork and fatigue.
T-Series felt the brunt of this recently when they incurred a loss of almost Rs 70 lakh.
The incident in question happened in Udaipur when Pooja Bhatt took the cast and crew of Kajra Re (which she is directing for T-Series) for the shoot too Devigarh Palace (near Udaipur) on August 18. Says a source from the unit, “The shooting was scheduled for nine days but everybody had to return after shooting for just three days. Pooja could not continue the shoot since Himesh fell sick out of sheer fatigue.”
Our source adds, “Himesh did not come to Udaipur on the first day. After he came, he shot for just two days. After that, he could not continue shooting. He had also developed high temperature. He tried telling Pooja that everything would be fine. Pooja waited with the entire cast and crew for two more days while Himesh rested.”
What happened then? Himesh was still not fit after two days. Pooja could not wait any longer. Most of the scenes, which she wanted to shoot in Devigarh Palace, had Himesh in them. So, she called off the shoot.
Now, the Udaipur schedule will have to be readjusted. Pooja says, “We all will have to go back there again and complete the shoot.”
A friend of Pooja says, “Himesh has taken too much work. He should take it easy.”

Pooja adds, “Himesh tried his best but could not cope. He definitely needs to slow down. I could not shoot with him, or else the output would not have been at an optimum level and it would have reflected on the screen. Even my dad (Mahesh Bhatt) wanted us to call it off, he said it would be suicidal if we went ahead.”
When contacted, Ranjit Shah, Executive Producer on Kajra Re, confirmed that Himesh’s inability to shoot in Udaipur had cost T-Series big money. Ranjit said, “We lost Rs 60-70 lakhs. We had paid for the site, lights and a lot of other things. The shooting schedule in Udaipur was a major disaster…”
When contacted, Himesh said, “The climate of Udaipur didn’t suit me and I got viral fever. As I reached Mumbai, the temperature became normal and here I am shooting for Mudh Mudh… But I’m happy that nowadays due to insurance cover, the producers don’t have to bear the loss, and it was just three days of shoot which had to be cancelled.”

…in 2005…HR churned out so many albums that i really wondered whether he was a machine and how does he manage so much at a time…HR has been a hit all the way till now whether ask about his music or debut movie…but as the famous dialogue goes…that a star’s value is only till he is the in-thing…just ask anu malik what this means…the same guy who is watching HR’s back right now humiliated the veteran anu malik till he reconsidered adding letters to his name…ironically this happened in HKDKG where HR was roped in…and anu malik was publically humiliated…
…sadly this is how the industry works…bhushan kumar will always back HR as far as HR is able to churn in big money for them…and for that reason I pray that HR movies are a success…T-Series forgot the amount for which the Karzzzz package was sold…and here they come complaining that…Himesh’s inability to shoot in Udaipur had cost T-Series big money, “We lost Rs 60-70 lakhs. …ofcourse…HR may be working harder than before…previously he was only a highly regarded music director working with small and some bigger banners whereby the mountain of expectations was minimal…then came ABA which threw him right up to no.1…with back-to-back chartbusters came criticism for his nasal voice and repetition…expectations and responsibility increased but HR didn’t stop and took the ultimate chance as an actor which clicked…the staked raised…
…sitting in a comfortable a/c music room for a born musician would be like a hobby I guess…but now composing,singing and acting would be bit hard…i can imagine the effort behind HR’s personality makeover (working out, strict diet etc)…travelling fror shoots here and there…and the toll is taken on human body…
…investors/producers only think in terms of profit and loss…they just need a golden goose to cash on…HR…you have a handful of projects with producers banking on you to get them laughing them to the bank…i hope you will be able to do that…
…now for Karzzzz…i have felt the nerves of HR when he was thinking of delaying the release date…and also for the music release…HR wasn’t that eager ever before…Karzzzz songs are exclusive…no 2nd thoughts about that…but im wondering that it actualy took him 1 year for it…but I can see a desperation in Karzzzz (and even AKS-The moviee) music…which i never saw in previous albums which he composed carefree…what i am trying to say is that there is a difference revising for an ordinary test and a final board exam…or between a doctor operating on a normal patient or on his own family…you can see the nerves…i say this because you have effortlessly composed better songs than Karzzzz songs (though Karzzzz is also one of your best and exclusive mind you) in a shorter time-frame…e.g. yeh hai jalwa,tere naam,ahista ahista,namastey london etc etc etc…but here you are trying-extra hard to deliver under pressure with high-stakes…i know it is easier said than done but take it easy and just be yourself… die hard HR fanatic

Post aba HR is on the top of his career..his work has been accepted by national and international music lovers..there was a time when you can expect every cinema of box office to be a himesh reshammiya tag..he used to make 2-3tones per day..and choose the best one of them.now he is very choosy to give music..but he has to face the pressure even more..because music lovers must wait a long for his film and his music..he has to deliver on each song..each film..each part of his music.but neither his music nor his voice nor his songs get critical acclaim.it reflect on the music of karzzz.the pressure and the hype builds up and he became much tensed.with karzzz standing on the witness box.HR is facing much pressure during kajrare.which reflects on this incident.i hope the critics didn’t end up a career of a tremendous artist.an international rockstar.and as far as himeshji is concern.all of your fans are with you.make good music and original music.pls take care of yourself.you means a lot for us.get well soon…… Mitram
