Thanks to all of you for voting in our 2nd Song of the Week Karzzzz special! The 2nd most popular song is Mashallah!!! As everyone knows, it is my favourite track from the album
Brief Background of the song

Mashallah is the song where Monty falls in with Tina. Set in a club, Himeshji’s Mashallah is said to be the modern day version of the old Karz classic “Dard-e-Dil”. Mashallah has a unique style in terms of its composition and has a very strong melody with a rock feel to it as well (especially in the chorus of the song where Mashallah Subhanallah tera chehra repeats). The song has 2 parts as shown in the film - a male & female version. The male version being sung by Himeshji & the female version sung by reality show contestant Sara Raza Khan.

RGV already has a mega line up of stars for this film which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Riteish Deshmukh, Mohnish Behl, Manisha Koirala, Rajat Kapoor, Sudeep, Gul Panag, Raima Sen and Rajpal Yadav.

T-Series has asked director Pooja Bhatt to reduce the budget of her forthcoming Himesh Reshammiya starrer Kajrare. Reason? Bhushan Kumar of T-Series took the step after their Himesh starrer Karzzzz did not set the cash registers ringing. T-Series has realised that they will not be able to sell Kajrare at the price which they had earlier planned.

What makes things worse is that T-Series has also cancelled the shoot of Kajrare which was to take place later this month. An insider said, “Pooja has no clue when her film’s shooting will resume. She has tried talking to T-Series about this, but they are giving her no concrete answers.”

Many thanks to all of you for voting in our song of the week Karzzzz special!!!! The first chosen song to be discussed this week with a massive 89 votes is of course Lut Jaou the title track from Karzzzz

Brief Background of the song

Satish Kaushikji wanted to have a title song for the new Karzzzz and hence he asked Himeshji & lyricist Sameer to come up with a haunting melodious track. The song plays at the very beginning of the film and also re-appears when Kamini learns that Monty is actually a reincarnation of her late husband Ravi Verma. Reality show winner Harshdeep has sung the female vocals of the song (she also sang Dil Ne Ye Na Jaana with Himeshji in the soundtrack Red).

November 06, 2008, (Sawf News) - Himesh Reshammiya’s Karzzzz concert, held at Andheri Sports Complex on October 12, will air on Star Plus on Sunday, November 9.

Hosted by the hilarious duo Cyrus Broacha and Mona Singh, the show features Bollywood hotties like Riya Sen, Amrita Arora, Amisha Patel and Neha Dhupia cavorting to Himesh melodies.

I know all of you have seen Karzzzz by now (and I am sure more than once ), so please share us your thoughts on your favourite scene from the film here

Everyone knows my favourite song from Karzzzz is Mashallah - so my fave scene from the film is from the time Monty meets Tina at the club and she thinks he is Monty’s duplicate lol - that was too funny - till Himeshji appears in the helicopter *bollywood hero style* and meets Tina again
