Thanks to all of you for voting in our 2nd Song of the Week Karzzzz special! The 2nd most popular song is Mashallah!!! As everyone knows, it is my favourite track from the album :D
Brief Background of the song

Mashallah is the song where Monty falls in with Tina. Set in a club, Himeshji’s Mashallah is said to be the modern day version of the old Karz classic “Dard-e-Dil”. Mashallah has a unique style in terms of its composition and has a very strong melody with a rock feel to it as well (especially in the chorus of the song where Mashallah Subhanallah tera chehra repeats). The song has 2 parts as shown in the film – a male & female version. The male version being sung by Himeshji & the female version sung by reality show contestant Sara Raza Khan.

    I didnt notice any female version of this song in the film karzzz.
    when was it jem ? or may be I joined late .

    DHOOM TERE ISHQ KI WAS 2ND BEST i wud like to congratulate himesh 4 improved acting skills in karzzzz……….himesh’s music was good….but strictly speaking …i was expecting better…….. himesh sud try 4 something new………….y not to try something new….when u r having large no. of songs(9 original songs)&keep most popular songs in movie.& rest 4 promotion of movie(can frame music good music vidios)………not necessary in movie…..everyone luves ur songs ..so no need to cut songs in music album…..BUT HAVING LARGE NO. OF SONGS IN MOVIE(5/6+)…..GIVES A FEEL DAT we are not watching amovie but a chitrahar…….one last thing………himesh’s voice is different…&it needs challenging work at lyrics……not same type of lyrics every time……WHEN U R HAVING LIMITED RELEASES IN A YEAR..Y NOT TO 4 SELECTED LYRICS BASED SONGS…y not to try 4 GULZAR,PRASUN JOSHI,JAVED AKHTAR..or any diff. person……i m not saying sameer is bad…..but now EVERY PERSON LOOKS AT HIMESH 4 CLASS &FRESH SONGS..now he needs only gud work…people r crazy to give it a hear….so no need to low ur quality wid same beats &luv songs wid similiar lyrics…….IN OUR MEDICAL COLLEGE …I HAV NEVER SEEN SONGS FAMOUS THAN NAMASTEY LONDANS…..dats basically due to superb music,lyrics&singing……..main jahan raho is a FAREWELL SONG IN IITS &other cols all over india ..dats basicaally due to lyrics……i think himesh’s voice shuits philosphical songs…..i donot know y he is not trying 4 dem…….NOW HIMESH IS A BRAND …in in music variety is key to maintain abrand(see rahman dis year….all 4 albums hav diff type of music)…..KEEP ON ACTING IN MOVIES ….its tough time but vil go off wid ur hardwork ..& once it comes u vil enjoy stardom bcoz of ur same diff. ordinary looks….&PLZZ SONGS WID VARIED LYRICS….HIMESH IS NOT KING OF A PARTICULAR TYPE…BUT VARIETY SUD B UR PRIORITY…..IF U WANT TO MAINTAIN EDGE ABOVE OTHERS…………

    i like himeshji’s dressing in this song . he looks very nice and handsome. i think mashallh is tera mera milna of karzzzz . i think its a very romantic and nice song and variations in this song are superb by himeshji. but i think this song has a classical background music other wise this song is minblowing

    @dr.vijay…I m completely agree wid u but da lyrics of lut jaaon,dhoom tere ishq ki,masha allah n tandoori nights r vry extra ordinary n amazing…n lyrics of rest 4 original songs r okay…i thnk himeshji should work wid javed akhtar…da music of karzzzz is totally fresh but lyrics of 3 to 4 songs r of same type as himeshji previous wrks…ar rahman album ada ws vry different but didnt find any acceptance…variety may also decrease ur status…music of yuvvraaj is vry different but i found acceptance by 50% pplz…n subhash ghai also said dat music of yuvvraaj is nt upto da mark n it is lykin by classes but nt by masses…but i thnk in d music of karzzzz havin lot for both classes n masses…i m requestin 2 jem plz take d opinion of pplz abt choose of lyricst for himeshji’s movies..plz make a thread regardin 2 it..

    I was actually confused b/w Masha allah n Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki…. So i din’t vote n was waiting eagerly 2 see d choice of all Reshammiyans…..n its MASHA ALLAH!!!! :-) N

    @dr vijay..himeshji had done marvellous n mindblowin wrk in banaras…after listenin da songs of banaras,u knw vry wel dat hw much talented himeshji is…songs masha allah,lut jaaon n dhoom tere ishq ki r world class n vry different compositions…n bcoz of fresh voices rahman songs luk betr…

    Ma dis post is nt related 2 dis topic..but i m sharin wid all reshammiyans d best wrk of himeshji 4 me acc. 2 albums……1.aapka surroor(non filmi album) 2.namastey london 3.tere naam 4.karzzzz 5.aapka surroor da movie 6.ahista ahista 7.aashiq banaya aapne 8.dasavatharam(for 2 masterpiece songs kallai mattum kandal n mukunda mukunda) 9.aksar 10.banaras

    when i first time hear the song masha allah.i was shock what is this song.in slow motion the song was good but in song 2 time the line masha allah subhan allah is fast.i am not satisfy with is.then after i listen now this song many time then i thing it is good composition.the best thing in this song is in chorus the voice is very good and it run with music that nice.
    my best song in karzz is dhoom tere ishq ki.
    at second position there is tie between soniye je tere nal,masha allah & tere bin chain na ave.
    my best song from all songs of himeash ji is kya jeena & tere bina from aapka suroor movie.i also like tu yad na aye aisa koi din nahi.
    i hate that person which things himesh ji is not good.
    i am big fan of himesh.
    my mobile playlist contain 45% himesh songs.
    my orkut profiles have himesh photo.
    now i wait for kajrare music.
    my request from himesh ji is please sing every song of movie in which you give music.i like your voice very much than music.
