Hhey Gujju news: Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye…

Published by at 4:31 pm under HR News

Contrary to earlier reports, Studio 18’s Hey Gujju has not been shelved.

On March 15, the film will go on the floors but this time with a different title – Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye. Also the film’s earlier lead actress Shruti Agrawal and director Satish Kaushik are no longer part of the film. The script of the film has been changed to a large extent and it is not based on the life of a Gujarati man.The filmmakers are looking for a new lead actress to replace Shruti.

And what about Himesh’s role? A friend of Himesh said, “Himesh will play a romantic role as Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye is now a contemporary love story. The film will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.Television director Swapna Joshi who set up the first few episodes of Teen Bahuraniyan will now direct the film as Satish Kaushik is no longer part of the project.”

“Himesh has completed 80 per cent of John Matthew’s film. In February, he will start shooting for Aditya Singh’s Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke and from January 20, he will face the camera for Pooja Bhatt’s stalled film, Kajraare. He is also looking forward to Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye,” added Himesh’s friend.

…by look of things,HR’s next release should be a new love story rather than kajraare…i personally thought that HR excelled as an actor in karz, and the weakest link was the films director ‘satish kaushik’ and lack of star support-actors…and considering the backup, publicity,no.of prints…it was a shame…this was a big-release with not-so-big support cast…in a nutshell…satish kaushik let the film down…for a man of his calibre he did injustice to the film which wasn’t convincing…and therefore i am very happy that satish kaushik isn’t part of this project any more…

…on this note i would like to add that in my opinion, its the banner and ultimately the director that makes or breaks an actor…therefore HR should be extermely cautious with whom he works…its good they figured out that the script wasn’t up to the mark and so they changed the subject and name…but a serial director, to direct this movie…i have reservations over this…john matthew directed aamir khan and gave hit movie sarfarosh…but recent form counts (as even with satish kaushik) and his last outing shikhar didn’t do too well…but yes, john can extract a performance from HR…about pooja bhatt, both her previous movies didn’t do well, but since the script is written by mahesh bhatt, there should be weight in it…but any newcomer or television serial directors directing HR,for his welfare..i am not that convinced…also AKS and Karzzzz has loads of songs after short intervals…this shouldn’t happen as it disrupts the flow of story and those songs can be used for promos and should be in audio cd…

…at this point (considering recession), HR should try to do multi-starrer films with mainstream artistes…as this would ease out burden/expectations off him incase the movie dosen’t do too well rather than taking the blame solely as a lead hero…and it would help his performance and learning experience…and build his rapport…although i don’t think he is looking for that right now as he is in ‘isolation’ mode…anyhow…such multistarrer films would allow his to ‘sneak in’ and lower stakes/expectations in terms in acting and B.O…also i have noticed that in terms of artistes, HR isn’t working with mainstream actresses rather newcomers, with rarely seen support artistes rather than mainstream support artistes…i feel that he is running on a parallel path and this is an issue of acceptance as he needs to merge with established and regular artistes…

…lastly,i am raising these points and making suggestions because i am his well-wisher and more so, i am concerned about the relationship with his stakeholders and hope that he dosen’ t let them down since they trust and expect him to bring in the audience…but there is a twist, being a fan…my best-wishes and support is always there before the release of his every film, as a fan i don’t have say in its verdict…but after its verdict…i don’t have any sympathy with the outcome…as much as it hurts to say…but i didn’t symphatize with karzzzz’s outcome…the main reason for this is as follows…HR has ensures all ends out (basically uno ne koi bhi kasar nahi chori) and left no stone unturned to ensure that his project is exclusive…sadly that effort included a policy desision ‘that works for the movie, but doesn’t work for the music side of things’…and perhaps thats what has finished the sympathy…but as i said i single handedly cannot determine the verdict and basically don’t have any say…before his any release i am equally praying and wishing for the best (just like any other fan), the only difference in my sentiments is after the verdict…
