Going by the title of the song, one expects this to be a peppy dance number but from the first note of the song, Himeshji surprises the listener and the song turns out to be classical 
Resembling Kya Jeena from Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee: The Real Luv Story, Himeshji proves that he also can make semi-classical songs with lyrics such as Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki. The song has a beautiful blend of instruments such as flute (used in the beginning of the song) and tablas. It is picturised on the love between Monty & Tina.

ustad himesh reshammiya is at the helm of affairs…i would regard this as a strangely unlike HR song…its a 50/50…i like it sometimes and dont like it that much at times…the nasal twang is evident in the dhoom*3 lines of the song which compliments the song very well…its not the best in terms of melody (if compared to tere naam,oodhni,o jaane jigar,churaliya hai tumne)…but the soothness of song is its key…and the lower octave vocals in the song are a highlight…
…the range of HR’s vocals were displayed in song ahista ahista…extreme lower octave in “yaadon ki parchaiya, GEHARIYA”…and extreme high octave in “TUM…dil mein”…amazing,incredible range
…i was listening to chura liya hai tumne title track…what a magical number…just look as the background instruments,female chorus…the way HR has made shaan to sing this number…i had to listen it in my media player in slow playback…there is one word to describe ‘churaliya hai tumne’ and that is MAGICAL die hard HR fanatic
