Himeshji’s father Vipinji honored with Phalke Award

Himesh is planning to host bash to celebrate his dad winning Phalke award

Himesh Reshammiya is playing the doting family man. Himesh who has never thrown a party for himself is now throwing a big party for his dad on May 5.

Currently shooting for Ishq Unplugged Himesh says, “My dad (Vipin Reshammiya) is getting the Dadasaheb Phalke award for extraordinary contribution to the music industry on May 4. It’s a very big day for me. I am flying back from the Kajra Re schedule in Devigarh in Rajasthan for a day and am planning a party for him.

I want to invite all the people who have worked with him for the last 30 years. My dad has not met friends and colleagues like Pyarelal (of the famous composing duo) for years, though he has worked with leading musicians.

He’s not been in touch as he’s been busy with my career. Dad is the backbone of my success.”

Papa Reshammiya doesn’t know about the party and it will be a surprise, “We are also yet to decided the venue for the party whether it will be at home or a suburban five-star hotel is as yet undecided.”

    FILMFARE AWARD should have easily gone to kARZZZZ music but sadly it did not.

    basically, there are lot of junk musics and songs going around in bollywood for over a year. music directors and singers getting awards for nothing but just junk , old fashoined and godly type musics.

    HR will end this stupdity and teach them what it means when it comes to well deserving chart buster music come end of 2009!!!!!!!

    mein bataa nahi sakti HR mein kitni khush hu tumhaare papa ke liye.ke mein sab ke tarha congratulation nahi kahungi kyun ki meri khushi kaa izhaar lafzo mei nahi kiya jaa sakta hai.meine duaa ki thi ke papa ko M2KNDM2K ke liye award mile par mashaallah mera khwaab usse pehle sach ho gayaa……….sooooooooooooooo happy for him and u.i can even feel ur happiness.

    Uncle reshammiyaji ne M2KNDM2K mein ek bahut pyara song compose kiya hai. Jise himeshji ne ek baar SAREGAMAPA mein HR special episode mein gaya tha jo hai. Hum ekraar karte hai, bahut jyada,bahut jyada tumse pyar karte hai..Karte hai..Karte hai..karte hai

    Himeshji ne jitne bhi songs compose kiye hai woh sabhi ek se badkar ek hai. Par mere hisaab se himeshji ka ab tak ka sabse best song film aap ka suroor mein “tere bina” hai. Main chahta hu ki unki aane wali filmo mein is tarah ke songs ho.

    @jem: It really sad, IIFA awards ne nominations list jaari ki hai.but HR ka naam kisi category mein nahi hai.Yahan tak ki copy cat Pritam tak ka naam hai.atif aslam jise suro ka nahi pata.rahman toh awards ke liye fix hai.in awards ko to band karna chaiye

    i think we should not give any attention to these crab awards . they always do the same there is nothing new . himeshji ke ilawa industry kai kaiy logo ke saath injustice hoti hai see emran hashmi i think after his jannt became super hit atleast he should get the nomination in best actor category but noo. and our himeshji he delivered best music last year but who cares u know why industry mein ab sifarish chalti hai ,see ranbir kapoor and imran khan. they both are damn flops and still in news like superstars coz they have parents who are legends of bollywood. or crap A R rehman ne tu apni seat book karwa rakhi hai. jis din ye aadmi music choore ga na us din baaki mehnti music directors ko on ka haq mile ga.

    oncee upon a time AR Rahman..Amitabh Bachchan..Shahrukh Khan was also criticized..it doesn’t matter with the awards..what it does matter is the performance..and he delivers it..except last 1 or 2 years..let him prove his all rounder skill..then you’ll see what ever he does win an award for him..even that is not as good as his previous..actually that is Bollywood awards..they don’t acknowledge those who are best and on the peak of his carrier..watch out the next couple of years..he will win the maximum number of awards..you will frustrated at that time!! ;)
