mehbooba

Hello Reshammiyans >:D<

Mehbooba is the 8th most popular song from Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee, The Real Luv Story - as voted for by you all!! The order of the most popular songs from the movie are:

1) Tere Bina
2) Tera Mera Milna
3) Tanhaiyaan
4) Jhoot Nahi Bolna
5) Dillagi
6) Assalam Vaalekum
7) Kya Jeena
8) Mehbooba

As a special, this week's song of the week is Mehbooba!

Brief Background of the song

The RD Burman classic Mehbooa O Mehbooba has been recreated by Himeshji and features as a special video at the end of Aap Kaa Surroor the movie. Himeshji wanted to give a tribute to Panchamda and has had Asha Bhosleji sing the song with him. The song is picturised on Himeshji & Mallika Sherawat and half the video has been shot in the old 70′s style (paying tribute to the film Sholay) while the modern portion has been lavishly shot in a casino.

Tell us your thoughts about the song here!

Song of the week will be on a short break but will be back with a bang soon!

Song of the Week (7): Kya Jeena

Published by Jem under Song of the Week

Kya Jeena…Kya Jeena Jeena Kya Jeena Tere Bagair, Jeena Mera Kya Tere Bagair…….

Hello Reshammiyans >:D<

Thanks to all of you who voted for this week's song of the week! It was clear from the start that Kya Jeena was going to be the 7th most popular song from Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee The Real Luv Story :D

Brief Background of the song

Kya Jeena is the 7th track of the Aap Kaa Surroor movie album. Unfortunately the song did not feature in the film, yet it has been appreciated by fans worldwide. Kya Jeena shows the semi-classical side of Himeshji and has Jayesh Gandhi accompaining Himeshji with the vocals. A truly melodious number, Kya Jeena is definitely the surprise package of the album! :D

What will be Himesh’s next release – Kajraare or Ishk Unplugged?

Himesh Reshammiya is facing a “happy” problem. He has two of his films lined up for release and it is yet to be decided which of them would arrive first. Due to the strike which has stopped many big films from releasing, it has created a cloud of uncertainity around which of the two Himesh starrers would arrive first – Kajraare or Ishk Unplugged!
