I feel it is very appropriate that this week’s song of the week, is none other than “Naam Hai Tera” from Aap Kaa Surroor private album!

I think everybody here knows that Naam Hai Tera is my most favourite song of Himeshji - I have listened to it endlessly & I love it every time I hear it - be it the original or remix version! For me, everything about this song is just PERFECT - from start to finish

I think we all know this song really well so no need for the “Background” part this time, just tell us your thoughts on the song

Himesh Reshammiya’s birthday is on July 23. But no, he isn’t in any mood to party. The actor has gone through some serious workshops for his future films. For his next film Radio, where he plays a radio jockey (RJ), Himesh interacted with a lot RJs. The film is a contemporary romantic comedy.

Less than two months after going on floors, shooting of Himesh Reshammiya’s Radio is complete. The film was announced in the month of April this year, the principal shooting began in May and in quick time director Isshaan Trivedi of 7 1/2 Phere [Irrfan Khan, Juhi Chawla] fame has wrapped up Radio. The film stars Shenaz Treasurywala and Sonal Sehgal as the leading ladies opposite Himesh.

Background of the Song

Tera Surroor is the first track of the Aap Kaa Surroor private album which released in 2006. A soft rock number, Tera Surroor has Himeshji sing in his unique style, and unexpectedly has a wonderful sitar interlude - which one doesn’t quite expect, yet it fits in beautifully with the melody of the song!

I have listened to Tera Surroor countless time & I always fall in love with it, again & again!!
