News: The Music Launch of “Radio”
Deviating from the usual glitz and glamour associated with any Bollywood event, the movie unit of the forthcoming film ‘Radio’ led by singer-composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya, released the music album of their production amid religious fervour in Mumbai. The music album was released during the ongoing festival at the ‘Lalbaug Ka Raja’, as the film crew sought divine blessings of Lord Ganesha, for the success of their film.
‘Radio’ is a modern day love story that deals with the issue of incompatibility between couples today. The film revolves around the life of a radio jockey Vivan Shah, played by Himesh.
Brief Story outline of Radio
Vivan is undergoing a bitter divorce when he meets Shanaya, who hosts a show with him. The show becomes popular and sends across wrong signal that they are married. Later the saga relates how Vivan’s estranged wife realises her mistake and wants to reconcile with him.
Himesh admitted that he had to prepare a lot to get into the role of a radio jockey. “I’m playing the role of a radio jockey working at Radio Mirchi. I had to train with the radio jockeys. I used to observe these radio jockeys and how a radio jockey keeps his reflexes. I want all of you to pray for the success of my film,” he said.
‘Radio’ is slated to hit the screen worldwide on December 11.

I have heard all the songs they r just superb,fantastic,outstanding,mind blowing and historyyyyyyyyyy…………Really don’t have any words to describe how fantastic all these songs are…I am pretty sure that this time HR is gonna get all the awards for best music of the year 2009….aameen…May he get all the successs this time which he really deserves…

how can HR be so talented! they are so melodious, heart touching, feels inside ur heart. you want listen to it million more times after you have already listened to it 1000 times in row.
I can’t wait to go to store to buy the original CD, that way I make it the biggest selling album as it should be.

I am soo excited. i wasn’t making comment coz i wanted to be patient and now i tell u i am soo happy. I have listened all the songs. I loved himeshji’s work in RADIO. Its the first time himeshji singing with his orginal voice and all can i say himesh reshammiya rocks. I see a total new himesh in RADIO whether as a music director, singer or actor. Himeshji has come up with a complete new style. I bet we would never expect himeshji in such picture. Music is rocking i loved it and its very different as compared to the albums which himeshji has done in his past. Its very fresh and young. I was shocked when i listened to the music of radio. Its totally new from himeshji.

One thing more, that i have also seen full song of radio on bollywood hungama and also its trailer. My eyes were wide opened and himeshji is looking ultra smart and slim and hottest. 1)MANN KA RADIO title track of the movie hr sung this in middle octave.song is very cool nice use of guitar,nice tune,everything is perfect about this song for me.

2)ZINDGI JAISE EK RADIO 2nd title track it is in punjabi style little bit disappointment for me lyrics is excellent thumbs up for subrat sinha.this song is in hr’s hit nasal twang
*zindgi jaise ek radio(remix) akbar sami rocks it is better than original
3)JAANEMAN oops what say about this song no words to say each phrase is a gem
4)Koi na koi chahe what a song it got perfect melody some tunes doesn’t go off your mind for sometime the masterpiece

bt ‘man ka radio’ n ‘zindgi jais ik radio’ is realy a nice songs..:)
jus wnt 2 say 2 t himeshg that beleve in urself not ppl..beleive in urs own natural voice i.e by nose or heart..i see that voice s nt lookin original in this ablum….the more.stress is on throat not heart..

Himeshji you will have to back in 2004-2005 music which was very good from this time when you use the voice of udit narayan simply love songs and very melodious songs, like Bhool jayenge hum from Kuch Meetha ho jaye. Tune mujhko deewana kiya from yakeen, chunri re chunri from Insan, you becomes with udit narayan. your music is perfectly suitable for udit narayan and I think your composition get a icing of the cake. himeshji I love your music. sudhir
