Dance Premier League a unique dance format that is soon to go on air on Sony Entertainment Television has been creating news all through its audition phases. After auditions in Bhopal, Indore and Jaipur, singer-cum-actor Himesh Reshammiya was in Indore to support the Central Zone team on Dance Premier League and promote his film “Radio”. It was the final selection day to form the Central team who will finally take the dance challenge and bring glory to their region.

Background of the song

The song “Mann Ka Radio” featured in the first ever trailor for Himeshji’s forthcoming film “Radio: Love on AIR”. The music video is shot in 3 different parts. The song has been designed as a Radio “jingle” to the show which is hosted by RJ Vivaan (played by Himeshji).

Himeshji has sung the song in “middle-octave” and it features wonderful melodious music and meaningful lyrics which have touched upon all Reshammiyans: “Toota Dil, Kya Hua? Hogaya….Jo Hua….” & “Band Jo Baje Tera Khul Ke Tu Bhi Saathdar…Dard Hi Bane Dawa, Funda Hai Ye Life Ka…” are 2 such lines that stand out the most

Rajkot, Sept 24: Combining work with pleasure, Bollywood musician-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya promoted his forthcoming romantic film during the nine-day festival of ‘Navratri’ in Rajkot.

Singing and dancing with the crowd, Himesh left the audience panting for more as the crowd danced to some catchy songs from his forthcoming film ‘Radio’.

Himesh Reshammiya got hair extensions and shaved his chest for Karzzz. Although the much publicised film bombed at the box office, the fighter in him hasn’t given up. A year later, he is back with Radio—with a chic hairstyle, base-voice singing (reserving his high-pitched nasal twang for the remix version) and most importantly, he’s lost 12 kilos.

“I have to lose six more. The first criterion of being a hero is you have to be good looking. And when you do not have the conventional good looks to go with you have to work hard on yourself,” he says. “For me, the music of my film is as important as the story itself. I am blessed with two sets of voices and for Radio I have sung in my base voice,” he says, offering a fabulous demo.
