Why Radio is releasing on a Thursday…

Himesh Reshammiya has decided to release RADIO on a Thursday, instead of a Friday. “The numbers 4 and 8 aren’t lucky for me. KARZZZZ was released on October 17 last year, which totals to 8. I was dead against releasing the film on that date and my worst fears came true when KARZZZ flopped. That’s why I decided against releasing RADIO on December 4 [Friday]. Instead, we will release the film on the evening of December 3 [Thursday],” Himesh explains his stand.

Himesh is now eagerly awaiting the response to RADIO. This time, Himesh is keen on pleasing the multiplex junta. “You need to accept the fact that the booty comes in from the multiplexes. You need to have the mandate of this segment of moviegoers, if you want to play a long innings. That’s precisely why RADIO is targeted at this segment,” he states.

Wasn’t KAJRAARE supposed to be his third release? Reportedly, Studio 18′s ISHQ UNPLUGGED will be his fourth release. Has Himesh put KAJRAARE on the backburner? “Definitely not! KAJRAARE is already complete and in all probability, will be my fourth release. It’s a big film, it has been shot at several exotic locations and is a full on commercial film. We decided to bring RADIO first to create a strong base at plexes,” Himesh reasons.

    JEM–i am still having a fear that movie is 1:55min long and there are 9 songs,for such a short film songs should be less.i hope some songs should not be use in the movie because when KARZZZZ was released in it also there were 9 songs although film was 2:25 min long but i and my friends were feeling that we are watching an album have some dialouge and more songs…..some songs can be edited from the movie,songs like mahiya tu,tandori night and some more songs should have been edited.
    may be i am wrong but i want to tell you this. bitheway ETC is also showing now the tralior of RADIO.I had seen them yesterday.
    can anyone can tell me whether PVR-PRIYA(VASANT VIHAR) will be showing the shoe of radio.please inform….

    RADIO SHOULD HAVE TRIED TO AVOID CLASH WITH ANY MOVIE. NOW THE PROBLEM IS THAT THERE ARE SO MANY MOVIES IN MULTIPLEX THAT PROMOTION OF RADIO IS IGNORED. RADIO SHOULD BE SUPERHIT IF IT GET GOOD OPENINGS AND GOOD MOUTH PUBLICITY.

    pls wise up and be smart, there are no 9 song in film , its only in album,

    there are no more than 6 son gs in movie but the songs like rafadhafa and piya jaise are not picturized like song and they are shown very short when the actor or the actress are in good or sad mood.

    actual good picturized song in movie are 4.

    which are mann ka ardio, koina koi, jaaneman and temeri dostika.

    hey

    Well HR is my favourite Rock Star and his upcoming movie Radio all songs are outstanding mindbloing n fantastic ………and i wish Himesh ji ki movie dhamal macha de sabhi multiplexes mein sabhi cinema halls house full hojaein ……….or himesh ji ki movie bhaout paisa kamaen . I love HR yoh
