Published by Jem under Radio: Love On AIR

Teri Meri Dosti Ka Aasmaan…Jaane Kahan…

tmdkasof

Hello Reshammiyans >:D<

Thanks to all of you who have voted for this week's Song of the Week. The winning song is Teri Meri Dosti Ka Aasmaan :D

Background of the Song

Teri Meri Dosti Ka Aasmaan is a wonderful dreamy duet by Himeshji & Shreya Ghosal. Himeshji has used a different concept with the song & it is one of the most popular tracks from Radio. The lyrics by Subrat Sinha are very fresh and contemporary and fit very well with the films storyline. It is my favourite song from the soundtrack :D

Tell us your thoughts about the song here :D

Let’s Rock!

Published by Jem under HR Interviews,Radio: Love On AIR

Himesh Reshammiya is brimming with energy. A little more than a year after his second film as an actor, Karzzzz, released in theaters, he is ready with Radio. While Karzzzz was targeted at the masses, Radio is touted to be a quintessential multiplex film. In an exclusive conversation with Joginder Tuteja, Himesh talks about how he believes that majority of actors have to spend number of years in the industry before they are termed successful, the contemporary outlook of Radio and his emotional attachment with the film.

Interview: Himeshji

Published by Jem under Radio: Love On AIR

Himesh, who has been there and done it all, says he feels like this is debut. “Everything about the film is new. Be it my look, music, subject or the sensibilities. It’s something that people will relate to. It’s something that I would watch myself,” he says.

The movie is about Vivan, a radio jockey, who gives people advice on their relationship troubles, but doesn’t know where his relationships are heading. The film apparently has already covered its cost through music sales, video and satellite rights.

Himeshji will be seeing “Paa”…

Published by Jem under Radio: Love On AIR

For decades now Himesh Reshammiya has watched every Amitabh Bachchan starrer first-day first-show. Guess where Himesh will be on Friday afternoon? Not checking out the collections of his own release Radio, but glued to Paa in a theatre close to him.

And no power on earth can change a rule that Himesh has been following from his childhood of watching every Bachchan flick on the day of release.

As music director and singer he has given 36 hit songs in a row and in 11 yearlong career he has composed 500 odd songs. After all this success he decided to change track and started acting with the condition that he will sing songs and compose music for the film in which he will be acting. Prior to the release Himesh is confident because his film has recovered it’s cost and collection at the box office will be pure profit, but he is eyeing the appreciation. Radio arrives in a couple of days from now and along with Shenaz Treasuryvala, Sonal Sehgal is one of the two leading ladies opposite Himesh Reshammiya. Why Radio is releasing on a Thursday…

Published by Jem under Radio: Love On AIR

Himesh Reshammiya has decided to release RADIO on a Thursday, instead of a Friday. “The numbers 4 and 8 aren’t lucky for me. KARZZZZ was released on October 17 last year, which totals to 8. I was dead against releasing the film on that date and my worst fears came true when KARZZZ flopped. That’s why I decided against releasing RADIO on December 4 [Friday]. Instead, we will release the film on the evening of December 3 [Thursday],” Himesh explains his stand.
