Thanks to all of you who voted for this week's Song of the Week from Himeshji's Kajraare!

It was a very tough poll - 2 days ago it was almost neck & neck with one vote difference between Kajra Kajra Kajraare & Rabba Luck Barsa, but in the end Rabba Luck Barsa made it! :D Thanks to all of you who voted this week :D

Background of the Song

Rabba Luck Barsa is a very emotional song from a “lover” who is searching for his “love”. Himeshji has given a rustic arabic feel to the song…the drums that come before the chorus of the song add a real depth and emphasis to the lyrics of the song. The music has been kept simple, but the song has been carried by Himeshji’s powerful vocals.

The lyrics written by Sameerji, show emotions that anyone looking for love can relate to. The lines “Teri Marzi Ho Agar, Ishq Mukammal Hojaye…” & “Dil Ki Arzoo Hai Saare, Faasle Mitade, Meri Tanhaiyon Ki Mehfil-E-Sajade…” strike an instant chord with the listener and one can hear the pain in Himeshji’s voice as he conveys the message in these lines.

    Superb song RABBA LUCK BARSA with superb music….
    Although i voted for WO LAMHA but as said earlier all KAJRAARE songs r awesome……

    I think himeshji has done an fabulous job in kajraare and the way he uses instruments in his music is awesome , specially in ‘Aafreen’ song & that tune in ‘tujhe dekh ke’ is truely heart touching

    himesh is now currently working on an international project & i m sure he will definately bring an Oscar and break all records of A r Rahman

    maine himesh ji ko first time saregamapa ch 2005 main zee tv par dekha tha.us time main himesh ji ka fan nahi tha..phir bhi mujhe himesh ji ka gharana hi accha lagta tha kyonki un dino mein tere naam ke music ka deewaana ho gaya tha..iss wajah se..main pehle chota tha iss wajah se mujhe music director ka pta nahi hota tha..saregamapa challenge maine himesh ji ki wajah se hi dekhna start kiya tha..jab maine aashiq banaya aapna suna..us din toh main poora din etc channel par hi baitha raha tha.himesh ji ka asar aisa hai main aaj tak sirf himesh ji ke songs ke liye wait karta hu..

    I m the big fan of himesh from aashiq banaya aapne song.before aashiq banaya aapne i don’t know himesh ji.i like himesh singing most from himesh three role.himesh ke song k bina meri jindagi adhuri h.

    Rabba Luck Barsa, is a masterpiece by HR. Infact all the songs of Kajraare are a masterpeice.. Everyone appreciated this song.. but the only thing what i heard from my friends is Himeshji always repeats the words for atleast 3-4 times..
    i would like to clear that its Himesh’s style of composing music.. so the words have to be repeated orelse the taste of Himesh’s music would change.. that’s all.. Hr’s the Best.. Proud to be his fan..

    hmmmm,,,good song,,,,in bits and pieces,,,,music is fantastic,,,,starting ooooo is good……

    my fav song of hr is “janeman”…all time fav…great singing…oscar winner song…..

    Rabba luck barsa has repititive music and lyrics though its nice. I actually enjoy sizzling songs like ashiq banaya remix – what a great composition. Another great numbers like lut jaon remix and tum sanson mei remix is also superb. Well I love Kajraare’s tujhe dekh k arman jaage the most. The beautiful use of sarangi is xclent. plus perfect story of kajraare.But i sincerly believe that if the movie promos were also aired it will surely attract non hr fans and mass audience. People dont visit theaters just for songs but also for a perfect entertaining story. Hope Mr bhushan will also give some movie scenes in kajraare’s promo. HR should also do publicity in media as well as in public crowds. My Good wishes are always with KAJRAARE !

    Luved to see RABBA LUCK to b nominated song of the week…..
    Yar im afraid of AISHA cming also on 6th AUGUST…. KAJRAARE trailors should also b revieled as promos are revieled bcoz janta wants to see a film having a gud story… but when only song promos r onaired kajraare is not clearing its story image….
    i think this will b voice of every fan….
    hope that this msg will b allowed….

    what is this yaar??promotion is not perfact….still no realise of story base promo…as direction of this song is xlent….but something is missning….its not gud yaar…

    why we need promotion campaign by HR for KAJRAARE?

    HR said no hardsell promos needed and example is many films with huge promotion but failed and promos on tv is out.

    mahesh bhatt said no detail promos needed to let people know too much of stories!

    RABBA IS FANTASTIC.
    I AM JUST GETTING D FEELING THAT PROMOTION OF KAJRAARE HAS SLOWED BIT.AS PROMOS ARE AIRING FEW TIMES.HOPE MAY BE THEY WILL INCREASE IT IN COMING DAYS BUT I THINK(PERSONAL OPINION OF MAINE) PROMOTION WILL EFFECT BEST WHEN HR HIMSELF WILL PROMOTE IT.I DIDNT SAW HR OR ANYONE LIKE POOJA, MAHESH BHATT PROMOTING KAJRAARE.HR DIDN’T APPEARED ANY SHOW NOR HE GAVE INTERVIEWS.
