Background of the Song
Woh Lamha Phir Se Jeena Hai, is a masterpiece composition by Himeshji. A duet with female singer Harshdeep, Woh Lamha is an extremely haunting melody and can be said to be a trademark song from Himeshji’s musical genre.
The beginning of the song captures you immediately with it’s slow take off using the synth…and then the beat picks up as Himeshji’s mesmerizing vocals kick in. A romantic song, the song talks about the happy moments between the main characters: Rajiv (Himeshji) & Nargis (MonaLisa). Harshdeep Kaur who has sung Lut Jaoun & Dil Ne Ye Na Jaana previously for Himeshji, sings the female parts of the song. A strong favourite by all Himeshji fans, Woh Lamha Phir Se Jeena Hai is our 3rd Song of the Week!

Ye gana to waise to Acha hai. Is gane ka mai sab Hr fan ko ek interesting bat batana chahta hu. Gana jisne suna hoga usne Female singer ke 2 Antre to sune hoge. Agar wording ko thik se suna jaye to Sameer.ne Ghuma fira ke ek hi bat ko 2 antre bataya hai. Ye 2 antre koi alag nahi hai balki same hi hai. Sameer ke pas koi nayi soch nahi rahi. Woh lamha…
This song is a fancy attempt. The sound it carries is bit unique.
The arrangements are ok.
The song starts with a deep violina and then some delayed crashes dominate then.
The synthetic music loop all over the song is impressive. Himesh sings this song with a hint of nasality otherwise he is apt for this composition.
Lyrics will worth a special mention. The ooohhh’s and aaaahaaas’ coming in form of backing vocals are alike as if Kunal ganjawala has led it.
Harshdeep is little harsh and raunchy, yet not sweet as it should be.
“meri yaadon meain” & “teri aagash mein”…line carries a good tune and is very well sung…..
Very good aspect of this song is…it is not having HEAVY ORCHESTRATION which was very dominating in himesh songs before…. After radio, there has been significant improvement in setting of the songs.
I began to like himesh after radio…. my cousin aze(in this site) talks about him alot and always. He forcibly made me to listen the songs of Kajraare. After listening i liked the songs Woh lamha, Tujhe dekh ke, and also aafreen.
We had lots of brewing fights over this man called – “himesh”. He supports hr always which i dont get to digest at some times.
anyway i am a feet far away from being his fan and atleast i like his music now that made me to appear here. omar

however, i liked kajra kajra kajrare… its a good song..
your music is really “foot tapping.” i think thats the reason for these being hits..

@deeps: I have made a page for Kajraare also – it is the page that says Kajraare – Releasing Feb 2010 – Unfortunately I cannot change the name of the page as facebook doesn’t allow it
