More news on Himeshji’s International album *At Da Edge*
The big news is that the famed Roman White — creator of hit videos of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood — is going to direct Himesh Reshammiya’s videos for his very first international album in English to be released across 122 countries. These videos will be filmed across the globe in exotic locations by White in September and the music and videos should be launched by March 2011.
Himesh, incidentally, was the first singer from India to perform at the Wembley Arena and the Heineken music hall in Amsterdam some years ago. Now, he will be the first to be launched globally from India in the mainstream western music market.
Says Roman, “The one thing I love about Himesh’s music is that all of the songs are so different from one another. They range from fantastic dance songs like Bootyful to songs with more of a rock edge like Dangerously In Love. I love that there are some great ballads with even better love stories. It’s cool to have an international artist like Himesh come into the music scene in the West because it mixes things up and gives us something fresh and exciting! I can’t wait to get started on these videos. I think people are going to love the music that Himesh has created.”
The album, titled At Da Edge, has 15 songs written, composed and sung by Himesh in English. With the major music labels of the world onboard to sign him on, his music videos will be produced by Vivek Singhania of Picture Perfect and Executive Producer Randy Brewer of Revolution Films. Singhania is delighted with the response by music publishers and labels. The videos will feature some world famous female models and one of the duets will feature a big ticket female artiste with Himesh as a singer and with her appearance in the video. “It’s been a year of research and study of what works in the West and now that I am ready with my album, I can only say that it is due to the blessings of God, my parents and the people of India and I would like to state here that music has no language. It’s been a 360 degree reinvention for me and I have enjoyed every moment of working on this project which not only excites me monetarily but also creatively,” says Himesh.
Sources close to Himesh reveal that all rights of his music rest with Himesh alone and if the revenues earned by the Roman White filmed songs of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are any indication, then Himesh should have a huge grosser in hand.

no matter how many times we break our curious heads, banging on the walls of frustration, I guess we will get nothing but get injured by emotions.
Let’s not get into, REASON behind delayed release of our dear film Kajraare, bcoz actually no onz listening to us…is bhushan going to listen to us….or any distributor or any man of production house?

and the thing is when no one is listening to us, why to speak to motionless walls, straining our vocals or get frustrated??
Sit back, and toss around sometime on classic albums of himeshji…and let the thing happen….
Let us be contended with, what we get….let’s feel that, atleast half of the glass is full…as we alone fans cannot change fate of himeshji….we alone fans cannot save any film…its not fans… its an audience for which a film must be released….
It doesn’t mean that we fans r of no use, we are of, but it should be at the right time in the right way!
On the whole, May Kajraare be a huge hit….let it release whenever the makers think of an apt date.
