Hello Reshammiyans!

Thanks to all of you who have voted week in week out to find our Song of the Week from Himeshji’s DamaDamm!

Here is what our list looked like from the first week of voting:

Thanks to all of you who have told us your reasons for voting each song every week! It’s now time to round off this session of Song of the Week by discussing the beautiful rock ballad that is Bhool Jaaun!

Background of the Song

Bhool Jaaun is one of 2 promotional songs for DamaDamm!. It is a never seen before, first time collaboration between 2 highly talented Music Directors Himeshji & Sachin Gupta.

Sachin Gupta rose to fame with the smash hit songs of the movie ‘Prince’. He is also the creator of the popular song Doorie sung by Atif Aslam. Bhool Jaaun is his first time of working with Himeshji after being signed by Himeshji’s company HR Musik Ltd.

A heavily guitar driven track, the lyrics of Bhool Jaaun have also been written by Sachin and the video (which was released at Diwali last year) features Sachin & Himeshji together. The guitar is Sachin’s main instrument. The song has been appreciated by all and has been Number 1 on Deepa Rai’s Official People’s Network Chart Show on Sunrise Radio in the UK. The song is still currently in the Top 5 of the chart show!

I personally, am a big fan of this song & we look forward to future collaborations between Himeshji & Sachin :o)) I always smile when I hear Himeshji’s voice in the song… :o))

    Bhool jaaon is one of my favourite from this album.
    Himeshji’s voice-though it comes for a little part, it brings smile on my face.

    Loved all the song of the week. I’m going to miss it.

    I’m so so much missing himeshji now. Love himeshji.
