MUMBAI: It can be difficult for performers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Himesh Reshammiya (HR) and Mika Singh, to be confined to chairs while someone else puts on an awesome performance. It is no wonder then that HR finally decided to get up and join Shaan’s team on stage during ‘The Voice India’, showing his support for two of Shaan’s contenders at the battle round.

Shaan pitted Bangalore’s Amrapali Shindh against Mumbai’s Sana Aziz, in the upcoming episode of the singing reality show. Both performed the song ‘Parda Parda’ and HR was so taken up with the performance that he decided join the two on stage, during the performance.

Reshammiya said that both contestants are bright and performed brilliantly. He added that it would be difficult for Shaan to choose between the two contestants. Chauhan and Singh also praised the performers.

Aziz said, “It was a nice gesture by Himesh Reshammiya to encourage us. I could not believe that he liked our performance so much.”

The upcoming episodes will also see Chauhan, Shaan and Reshammiya mimicking each other. The show is aired on Saturday and Sunday on &TV.
