With Radio, Himesh Reshammiya after having carved a niche for himself as a music composer and singer, has attempted to prove himself as an actor as well. In an interview, the crooning star tells he now looking forward to future projects.
Radio is different from your earlier films…
Radio was a more urbane attempt from me as compared to my previous two films. The film was made for a target audience. It was youthful and more for the multiplex going crowd.

“With Kajraare, it’s time to move towards larger commercial setup” – Himesh
Himesh Reshammiya is smiling again. He is happy to find himself in a zone where not many expected him to reach three years back when he announced his decision to turn an actor. After the release of Radio, which as per the actor was targeted for a niche audience, he now has three diverse films (including Aap Kaa Surroor and Karzzzz) behind him. Now, with Kajraare, he is taking another step forward and is aiming to explore a different world altogether.

Confirming this he says, “Yes I am planning a short holiday with my friends and family. I think I need it, now that the film has released. I have a couple of work assignments coming up before which, I want to relax and rejuvenate myself. I promise to shut out work in these seven days.”

Teri Meri Dosti Ka Aasmaan…Jaane Kahan…

Hello Reshammiyans
Thanks to all of you who have voted for this week's Song of the Week. The winning song is Teri Meri Dosti Ka Aasmaan
Background of the Song
Teri Meri Dosti Ka Aasmaan is a wonderful dreamy duet by Himeshji & Shreya Ghosal. Himeshji has used a different concept with the song & it is one of the most popular tracks from Radio. The lyrics by Subrat Sinha are very fresh and contemporary and fit very well with the films storyline. It is my favourite song from the soundtrack
Tell us your thoughts about the song here

“At the beginning, an actor’s success rate is usually 10%” – Himesh
Himesh Reshammiya is brimming with energy. A little more than a year after his second film as an actor, Karzzzz, released in theaters, he is ready with Radio. While Karzzzz was targeted at the masses, Radio is touted to be a quintessential multiplex film. In an exclusive conversation with Joginder Tuteja, Himesh talks about how he believes that majority of actors have to spend number of years in the industry before they are termed successful, the contemporary outlook of Radio and his emotional attachment with the film.
