Dubai will host the grand finale of Indo-Pak singing contest Sur Kshetra this month. Jury and stage performance duty awaits the show’s mentors, singers Asha Bhosle, Pakistani pop sensation Atif Aslam, Himmesh Reshammiya, Abida Parveen, Ghulam Ali and Runa Leila.
The team will be in Dubai on December 20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre for a concert and to crown the winners of the popular musical reality show, which was filmed in Dubai and saw a face-off between Indian and Pakistani singer hopefuls.
How many of you enjoyed watching yesterday’s episode of Surkshetra? I am very sure like me, a lot of you would have been puzzled by the judging of our Govinda Aman Triikha’s wonderful performance of Noor E Khuda:

Jaise Himeshji ne kaha – he is leaving this decision to the Aawaam to decide – he knows Aman deserved 30 points for his superb performance and so do we!

Mumbai: Looking forward for the release of his film ‘Khiladi 786′, singer-composer-producer Himesh Reshammiya says Akshay Kumar is an ‘extraordinary’ ‘khiladi’. “The ‘Khiladi’ franchise is very popular. And Akshay is coming back with a bang with it. The story is nice and fascinating. I must say that Akshay is extraordinary in the title role of ‘Khiladi’,” Himesh told PTI.
Either ‘pass or fail’ seems to be the motto of ‘Sur Kshetra’, a musical reality show which will be aired on Colors and Sahara One channel simultaneously.
The show will have two teams, one from India and the other from Pakistan, competing with each other.
The musical reality show will be judged by legendary singers Asha Bhosle, Abida Parveen and Runa Laila, while Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam will be mentoring the Indian and Pakistani teams respectively.
Asha Bhosle along with Abida Parveen and Runa Laila will be judging the teams of India and Pakistan mentored by Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam respectively.
The upcoming singing based reality show Sur Kshetra just got bigger and better. The TV show that is modeled as the battle of singing talent between India and Pakistan has Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam mentoring teams of their respective countries.
