Aap Se Mausiiquii: Himeshji and Iulia shoot for the official video of Every Night and Day

Published by under Aap Se Mausiiquii

Iulia Vantur and Himesh Reshammiya have been spotted together a lot of times but mostly for work. Recently, Himesh and Iulia Vantur performed together at an awards show. And this time, these two have collaborated for her first single song ‘Every Night and Day!’ alongside the music director. Although Iulia Vantur had earlier lent her voice for the reprised version of Baby Ko Bass but ideally, this song will mark the debut of Iulia Vantur as a singer in Bollywood.

Recently, Himesh and Iulia Vantur released a making teaser video of the song and going by it, we are sure the song will be a rage. As per reports, Iulia Vantur had rehearsed for long before she recorded the song. As for the song, it is predominantly in Hindu but the hook line is in English. As we all know, Iulia Vantur is well-versed with Hindi and this song is proof of it.

While Iulia Vantur looked beautiful wearing a shimmery black gown, Himesh looked his usual in the semi-casual avatar. In an interview, Himesh said that he had essentially offered this song to Iulia after he heard her rendition of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from Sultan. But what’s interesting is the mélange of Himesh and Iulia’s voice and we can’t wait to hear the song.

Looks like Iulia Vantur is a busy woman as right after returning from her Maldives trip with the Khans, she is back to business and is going all out to promote her singing talent in the industry.

Interview Excerpt: Akasa Singh talks about Himeshji

Published by under HR News

How did you get your first Bollywood break?

Himesh Reshammiya was the mentor of a show I did – ‘India’s Raw Star’. When he heard me sing for the first time he promised me that he’d give me a break in Bollywood. After the show, a lot of people asked me whether I got a chance in Bollywood. An acquaintance gave me Himesh’s contact number and pushed me to talk to him. I messaged him ‘Hi Himesh ji, Akasa here. Hope you are well’ and in reply he texted, ‘Hi Akasa hope you are well, come to the studio tomorrow, we’ll dub a song’. It was as if I reminded him about his promise. When I went to the studio the next day, he told me, Tum apne tarike me gao. That was the best part, and I sang the song, ‘Tu kheench meri photo’ from Sanam Teri Kasam in that ‘masti wala’ tone. He liked my tone and that’s how I got my break in Bollywood. Kafi filmy kahaani hai meri! (laughs)

SRGMPLilChamps: Meet the miracle child Jayash Kumar

Published by under SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs

Do you remember Manoj Kumar’s film Clerk in which a war veteran Ashok Kumar, who is on his death bed gets up and begins to march when his son plays a patriotic song Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja? While that can be dismissed as highly improbable, here’s something that will make you sit up and take notice.

Recently, on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Himesh Reshammiya, who is one of the judges on the show, experienced the “touch of God”.

During the studio audition rounds, a five-year old Delhi boy Jayash Kumar sang Channa Mereya (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and his singing was so soulful that Himesh went up to the stage and touched his feet in appreciation. “We were told that his heart is on the right side and I was shocked because it is unusual. He sang the song brilliantly — there was a divine energy in him. Yes, I touched his feet but that was done in jest. And, he also innocently placed his hand on my head and blessed me,” says the composer.

SRGMPLilChamps: Himeshji to record a song with the winner

Published by under SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs

This Bollywood music industry talent may have spread his wings in different directions but music still remains the most important aspect of his existence. Well we are talking about music composer, singer, lyricist, producer, director and actor Himesh Reshammiya. This young prodigy is all set to judge his twelfth musical reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’. Not many know but the ‘Aap Ka Suroor’ hitmaker started his musical career at the age of 13, thus he is the perfect choice to judge a kids reality show.

Surprisingly this happens to be Reshammiya’s first at judging a kids reality show. “This is the first time I am doing a reality show with kids and I have actually become a child now. I am living my childhood through this show and learning so much from them. The kids keep pulling my legs and I am enjoying it thoroughly,” shared the ‘Aap Se Mausiiquii’ singer.
