Hello Reshammiyans!

I hope you are all having a good weekend!

As there is a lot of excitement surrounding the music of Dangerous Ishq, I thought it would be a great idea to re-visit the album that bought Vikram Bhatt & Himeshji together for the very first time: Red – The Dark Side.

The entire album of “Red” has outstanding music from Himeshji. Be it Aafreen, Aamin or Dil Ne Ye Na Jaana or Lonliness is Killing Everyone, Each track is special and unique in it’s own way!

Our weekend treat for this week is the remix of Aafreen Tera Chehra:

We hope you all enjoy re-living the music!!
Looking forward to your thoughts as always!

The music of Dangerous Ishq is not too far away!! ;o)

News: Teri Meri voted Most Romantic Song of the Year 2011!

Published by Jem under HR News

Love is… a song, at least where Bollywood is concerned. In fact, no B-Town flick is complete without at least one romantic song.

And 2011 has seen a steady flow of tracks that uplift and celebrate, comment and question, yearn and evoke longing. With Saibo by Shreya Ghoshal, Tum Ho by Mohit Chauhan, Te Amo by Ash King and Ishq Sufiana by Kamal Khan among other names, it was anyone’s game really.

But there needs to be a winner and this year that claim goes to Rahat Fateh Ali for Teri Meri Prem Kahani. And it’s not for nothing that itimes.com/polls got 2.01 lakh votes!

News: Himeshji to give music for the film Son of Sardar

Published by Jem under HR News

Sajid-Wajid, who had composed one song for Ajay Devgn’s home production, Son Of Sardar , will no longer be scoring the music for the film. Himesh Reshammiya has taken over as the composer and has started working on the project. Sameer, who is writing the lyrics for the film, said that the producers will be retaining the song composed by the duo. “Irshad Kamil had written the lyrics for that number and I have been signed on now,” said the lyricist, adding that he is not aware of the reason of the duo’s exit.

When contacted, composer Wajid said that there was no animosity between him and the producer of the film, Ajay Devgn. “It was a question of schedules. The shooting of Son Of Sardar happened earlier than we thought, and hence we couldn’t fit it into our schedule. We were committed to Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathore, Teri Meri Kahaani etc . The one song that we have composed is brilliant,” said the composer.

Today (23rd March) via twitter, Mika Singh said: “I hv recorded 2nd song with super hit composer himesh for ajay devgan’s up coming movie son of sardar!!”
